1986 JAGUAR XJS

GM 350 CI, Automatic transmission

This 1986 Jaguar belonged to Stacie's dad when he lived in Arizona. Unfortunately he passed during the first year Stacie and I met, and I never got the chance to meet him. This car was one of the few things Stacie was able to get from his estate. The V12 had been replaced with a small block Chevy 350, but the conversion was never completed. I drove the car briefly when we first shipped it to Ohio, but it did not run well. We started building our dream house shortly after the car arrived and sadly, it has always been on the back burner. Last year, I pushed the car out of the garage for our Father's Day Cruise in and gave it a quick polish. It had sat uncovered for 20 years and I was shocked at how nicely the paint cleaned up with very little effort. Hopefully, in the next year, I can find the time to get this one running. It is time!

Ready for a little TLC

The interior is very nice
